Sometimes it is hard to find time for simple pleasures like water gardening and watching dragonflies. As we seek to bring the beauty of butterflies and other beautiful things into our homes and gardens, we also seek to make life easier and more pleasant.

We all seem to have more and more to do in less and less time. We all seek to have a more relaxed and enjoyable life, yet practical tasks often eat up time when we would rather be relaxing. Most of us would really like to make our lives simpler and more pleasant. But how?

Well, there are many ways to make life easier and more pleasant. Making our indoor surroundings beautiful also enhances our serenity, and our appreciation for beauty outdoors. The metamorphic act of surfacing from gnome to Dragonfly strips away our beliefs of containment of our actions, our limitations, our doubts, and our life disbelief.

‘The Spirit of the Dragonfly’ reminds us that everything is likely. We can achieve our dreams and our goals, we learn to understand about ourselves, and our nature belief. The Dragonfly Spirited is the keeper of our dreams, seeing out loyal likely and ability, bountiful us the capability to fulfil our birthright.

The wings of the Dragonfly display the colours of our Universe and join us to their energy. The right of the individual colour or colours help us achieve our aspirations.

The scale of colours of our clothes, the interiors of our surroundings, even the colour of our car can have a decisive or change on what we force to achieve in life.

The taxing of dull or plain colours sends out a negative memo, maxim inside we genuinely don’t want to achieve or fulfil our ambitions, the colours we surround ourselves with reproduce back to us the purpose we convey out, just as the reflection of the wings of the Dragonfly.

If you are interested in historical or traditional meanings, try doing a search. Dragonflies mean different things in different cultures.

For example, in a desert culture, such as the Native American Pueblo cultures of the American Southwest, dragonflies were considered to be messengers to the spirit world. Because dragonflies are found near water, in a desert land, dragonflies are associated with abundance, because water makes the crops grow.

In late 19th and early 20th century Europe and America, dragonflies were associated with women, magic, fairies, and so on.

No one can give you a valid universal meaning for spiritual things. Different peoples thought and believed quite differently at different times. Do some research on your own and see what you find. (more…)
