Spyderco Dragonfly2 FRN H-1 Spyder Edge Knife, Yellow

The Spyderco Dragonfly2 is now being offered with an H-1 blade option, called the Dragonfly2 Salt.  What makes the Dragonfly a bestseller is its mid-sized blade, ergonomic handle with a front-finger choil and a spine cusp.  Its blade-to-handle geometry and leveraging points fill a gripping hand, making it feel like you’re cutting with a much larger knife.  Its FRN (fiberglass reinforced nylon) handle is molded with a grip pattern called Bi-Directional Texturing’ that ergonomically fills the hand with a series of angles and leveraging spots and is available in Marine Yellow. The addition of textured jimping on the choil, spine and screw-together handle construction and a left/right tip-up wire clip make pocket carry effortless and convenient.  Precise positioning of the enlarged Spyderco Round Opening Hole in relation to the pivot makes opening/closing smooth.  Hollow-ground for high cutting performance, the blade comes in a PlainEdge or SpyderEdge configuration.

Great edc knife, a bit too bright This is a great tool for everyday carry. I love the serrations, it’s sharp, smooth, feels amazing in the hand, and the fit and finish is great, with one exception. I love the knife, not a big fan of the yellow. The H1 steel is great and I’ll appreciate that when I’m in the wet woods of the Pacific Northwest, but the yellow handle is annoying and obvious in the pocket. I don’t care if people know I’m carrying a pocket knife, but I don’t like the little yellow tip coming out of my hip pocket, which is not always covered with clothing. It just clashes. But really, other than that, amazing knife, great work as usual spyderco. If you don’t mind the color, buy this one, if not and you don’t really want the H1 steel, go for the normal black handled VG-10 version. That’s great steel too.

Great I use it as a keychain maybe to big and heavy for that but a great knife. I like the yellow color and sharpness of the knife.

This is the best knife for water I have found! I keep it in my life vest in case I need it to cut my way loose. It also cut through paper, the plastic wrap around sausages, and the sausages themselves, easily. It is light and fairly small, yet still handles easily.
