A very slender species, occurring by streams in evergreen forest areas, here at Aberfoyle in Eastern Zimbabwe. Though widespread and common in large parts of Africa, it is not known from South Africa. See www.flickr.com/photos/zimbart/6766551977/ for a photo of the female.
