From the Google Maps satellite photo, it looked like this bridge might be an old trestle, not the steel and concrete bridge that I found after walking in. Still, the main span was dated 1920 and there were stubs of older trestle timbers below that, so some history of the crossing was readily visible, and the site was not totally uninteresting. This spot on Spring Creek was nice enough, with water gurgling through those old trestle pilings, plenty of damsel flies and dragonflies around and birds singing in the trees.
